Circexplorer2 runtime

Hi, I am running circexplorer2 for 2 single end fastq files and the job started on 12th June and is still running. Is this normal or does something need to be fixed?

Thanks,
Cyan.

@jennaj Looks like Cyan28 is having the same problem as me.

Hi @piglet22 Thanks for finding the other post! For your problem, let’s follow up for your details in the other thread here Circexplorer 2 over a week to execute and still running - #3 by piglet22

And welcome @cyan28 !! You can also post more details about your job if this is still a problem. See the banner at the forum, also here for how to generate a link How to get faster help with your question. You can post back the link here, then we can merge these together if the root reason is the same.

It isn’t clear yet if the problem is input data related, or some server side issue at UseGalaxy.eu, but we can sort that out for both of you.

@jennaj Any updates on this? Thanks

Hi @piglet22

I was able to get the test actually running this morning (got busy, so glad you reminded me!).

I ran the tool in two different modes, and both worked fine, so if there are problems, it is either with a mode or parameter that I didn’t test, or with your individual data or parameters (some content issue).

See here for what I did and my advice for how to post your work for feedback Circexplorer 2 over a week to execute and still running - #5 by jennaj

Hope this helps, and I’ll see your reply in this topic, too. :scientist:

Hi @jennaj
I’ve compared the inputs and also the modes and I can’t see any obvious differences. I’m taking a guess it might be my reference files for alignment? Galaxy
