Interactive CellXgene Environment

Hello!
I’m new to Galaxy. I’ve been using the interactive environment for CellxGene which deploys a browser for visualization of single cell RNAseq data. We had hoped we could use this function of Galaxy EU and share the link with our collaborators. However, the environment seems to automatically become inactive (and thus the link fails) after a period of time (sometime between 24 and 48 hours). I know it’s a long shot, but is there any way to increase the time the environment stays active?
I know that I could share the history or the data with others and they could run the interactive environment when they choose. However we do not want to share the raw data with others just yet.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Welcome, @hartandrew

Would you be able to explain how you are sharing the visualization with others?

Yes. We were sharing the tool by sharing the URL generated for cellxgene.

Hi @hartandrew

Interesting! I’m a bit surprised that is even possible but could reproduce it.

Since I don’t have a good solution for you … let’s ask one of the EU administrators what they think. I wondering if you could start up a session at that same site that isn’t connected to a Galaxy GIE session directly (a way run it independently where you might have more control over the timing…).
