I am working on felis catus genome.
There is a 9th version of the felis catus genome. however in galaxy I can only see the 8th version.
When is the update coming for felis catus?
Would it cause any issue if I were to upload felcat9th files and make the bwa mapping?

This genome is already on the list to be updated at usegalaxy.* servers, but that is part of a larger project and it won’t be completed for some time.
Meanwhile, you could source the genome fasta (soft-masked version) from UCSC https://genome.ucsc.edu, upload to Galaxy, and use it as a custom genome directly with tools.
