I saw that if a reference genome is not listed to contact galaxy support. I am trying to analyze transcriptome data for A. franciscana. Is there anyway to add it? Thank you.
I only found the mitochondrial genome sequenced/published at NCBI: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome/7022
Is there another source or did I miss the full genome at NCBI? We can consider it but prefer to index public genomes. We do not index transcriptomes at this time at Galaxy Main (https://usegalaxy.org):
Once you have the complete source links (genome, organelles), please create a comment at this ticket. Instructions for making a request are included in the top section or you can model after other requests: https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/1470
Meanwhile, if you have access to the genome/transcriptome, it can be used in Galaxy now as a Custom Reference Genome. The formatting rules also apply to transcriptome fasta data. FAQ: Preparing and using a Custom Reference Genome or Build
